The results of numerical solutions of direct and inverse problems radiowave determination of thicknessmetry of the two layers plane dielectric structures are presented. It has been illustrated in order to obtain the definite solution of thicknessmetry, when prior information is not enough and the range of possible variations thickness' is wide, it is necessary to solve the inverse problems. The effective multi-frequency method and algorithm for solution of inverse problems have been developed.

On the longe wave approximation base of the electromagnetic field of the longitudinal crack that is in the conducting half-space has been ivestigated. The model of a crack has been imitated with linear syperposition of the cylindrical reflector terms. The conditions of the crack paramerers determination of NDT Eddy current method has been defined.

The ionospheric effects connected with acoustic waves from ground based acoustic radiator and that have been studied by radio astronomical method on the base of radio telescope URAN-3 are presented. The investigation of artificial ionosphere effects by radio astronomical method is based on the measuring of intensity of the radio noise from cosmic radio sources.

The properties of mean and correlation function component estimates of amplitude modulated non-stationary signals are described. These estimates are built on the basis of characteristic Fourier component estimates. The dependencies of biases and variances on parameters of stationary modulating signals probabilistic characteristics are received. The influence on estimation accuracy of signal non-stationary characteristics is analysed.

The results of the research on the optimization of the algorithms for the operation of the coders of the Adaptive Delta Modulation (ADM) and DPCM with the use of quantization steps with multiplication factor equal to power 2 have been presented. Such steps relate to highly economical codes which require very simple mathematical operations.

In the article instrumental errors of an temperature image reconstruction by acoustic tomography method are investigated. Expressions for reconstruction errors and their numerical characteristics depending on measured errors of time intervals are obtained. Results of experimental valuation of these errors are illustrated.

Peculiarities of a binary image processing in a hybrid optical-digital system are considered. The binary image power spectrum criteria based on comparison of the whole spectral power with the high-frequency spectral band power is used for estimation of a sampled image distortions. Influence of an optical transfer function and a size of a pixel in pixel arrays on a sampled binary image distortion is studied.

A new efficient technique for impulsive noise removal is presented. The filtering scheme consists of the global histogram analysis part to detect impulse corrupted pixels and the local substitution of identified pixels by spatial modified order statistic values computed around these pixels. The comparative analysis with known adaptive identification techniques demonstrates the advantages of the proposed approach for effective noise removal while preserving edges and fine details. The mathematical simplicity and low computational load make the proposed approach very attractive for impulsive noise removal in digital images.

The problem of image binary segmentation is addressed to flaw the detection in diagnostics imaging. Due to specific features of images in the applications a structure-adaptive method is proposed which is used in combination with defect tracing procedure. Theoretical and experimental investigations of the proposed approach confirm its efficiency for flaws detection in materials and articles.
