The obtained results of determination of underground pipeline insulation transparent damages dimensions with the help of attenuation coefficient of currents in separate sections are presented. It is shown that measurement of pipeline current with the error no more than 0.5 % is sufficient for certain determination of damage dimensions.

The algorithm of numerical modeling of the decametric space radio emission propagation through the Earth ionosphere containing TID-like large scale electron density inhomogeneities was proposed and elaborated. In the algorithm an approach of geometry optics and step-by-step trajectory and propagated wave parameters estimation had been applied.

Appearance of essential changes of correlation connection between the equivalent noise sources of the canonical model is shown.

The problem of electromagnetic plane wave diffraction by multielement grating imbedded in a half-space is considered in the case of TM-polarization. A system of linear algebraic equations is derived by satisfying the necessary boundary conditions, application of the specially constructed quadrature formulae and an appropriate Green function calculation. Numerical results describing the resonance characteristics of the cascaded grating are presented in the paper.

The proposed algorithm is developed for object localization and segmentation of low contrast images. It is based on piecewise-linear model of image intensity and mathematical morphology for modeling of local image objects.
