Interbranch journal of scientific papers “Information extraction and processing” is founded by Karpenko Physico-mechanical Institute of the NAS of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The topics covered in the Journal span theoretical and applied research in areas such as :

  1. fields and signals in heterogeneous media;
  2. mathematical models of signals and systems;
  3. processing of measurement information;
  4. image processing and pattern recognition;
  5. algorithms and software.

The journal is published for the researches and specialists in the area of mathematical modelling, signal theory, image processing and pattern recognition, non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics of structural elements, information measuring and computing systems.

The journal’s aim is to publish original, high-quality research papers that involve both theoretical and empirical research and to present results from various scientific fields related to information extraction and processing. We encourage specialists from various scientific backgrounds to submit the results of their research within the interdisciplinary paradigm of information extraction and processing.

The journal’s objectives are:

  • to provide an open platform for scholars conducting research on the extraction and processing of information, with the aim of sharing the results of their scientific work;
  • to facilitate the dissemination and promotion of scientific work by researchers from Ukraine and other countries to ensure mutual exchange and open distribution of scientific knowledge;
  • to provide all interested parties with free, unrestricted, and full access to the latest research by Ukrainian and international scholars on the aforementioned topics.
