Interbranch journal of scientific papers “Information extraction and processing” publishes in­ves­ti­ga­tion results and pro­vides re­views on prob­lems con­cern­ing fields and signals theory in inhomogeneous media; mathematical models for signals and systems; measure­ment information processing; image processing and pattern recognition; algorithms and software. The Journal accepts con­tri­bu­tions from all parts of the world. Manuscripts should be of scien­tif­ic and prac­ti­cal value and not be pub­lished pre­vi­ous­ly.

Articles are published in Ukrainian and English languages. Papers in English contain summaries in Ukrainian with more than 1800 symbols includung key words.

Scientific papers should contain the fol­lo­wing items: 1) general formulation of the problem and its relation with scientific or practical knowledge; 2) analysis of the latest investigations on the presented problem; 3) formulation of the paper goals; 4) presen­ta­tion of the research methods and results; 5) conclusions and research pros­pects in the given direction. Reference lists are formatted in ACS style.
